RenewMark

Independent · Daily · Not a law firm

Your trademark’s next deadline shouldn’t be a surprise.

RenewMark is an independent maintenance backstop: a live USPTO baseline before payment, daily status checks, escalating deadline reminders, and a verified second contact when one inbox is not enough.

Every registration carries these dates — then another renewal every ten years. Missing a required filing through its grace period can end the registration.

Why this exists

USPTO courtesy reminders are helpful—but they are not required, and the USPTO says owners remain responsible even when a reminder does not arrive.

Addresses change, agencies close, domains expire, and messages land in spam. A five-to-ten-year maintenance horizon needs a second, independently verified system—not one inbox and a memory.

We close that gap. Independently, on the official record, every day.

What we watch

A watchdog, not another deadline reminder.

Free date-and-fee calculators are useful. RenewMark adds the missing reliability layer: a verified baseline, daily record checks, delivery outcomes, a confirmed backup contact, and a monthly heartbeat.

  • DeadlinesSection 8 (years 5–6) and every Section 8&9 renewal, with escalating alerts at 180 / 90 / 60 / 30 / 14 / 7 days.
  • Adverse changesNew status language or an adverse category is surfaced on the next daily check.
  • DeliveryAccepted, delivered, delayed, bounced, complained, and suppressed are recorded as different outcomes.
  • CancellationThe status flip from live to dead — a change that can also affect programs requiring an active mark.
  • The all-clearA monthly note when nothing needs you — proof the watch, and your address, are still alive.
How it works

Set it once. We watch it for years.

01

Add your number

Paste a serial or registration number. When the official USPTO service is available, we retrieve the record and calculate the maintenance timeline — no account required.

02

We check the record daily

Deadline reminders follow a six-step schedule. Status changes are surfaced on the next successful daily check—not described as “instant.”

03

You get independent evidence

Alerts go to the primary and confirmed backup contact, provider delivery events are recorded, and a monthly heartbeat shows that the watch is still running. Email is a backstop, not a substitute for your own calendar and official verification.

Independent by design

We don’t want to file your renewal.

Some private notices sell filing or monitoring services at prices above the government fee. RenewMark is different: an independent watch that tells you when to investigate and links you straight to the official USPTO record and forms. We’re not a law firm, we’re not affiliated with the USPTO, and we never touch your filing.
